strengthening communities for a changing world
TRI-COUNTY
COMMUNITY GROUP

ABOUT THE TCCG:
The Tri-County Community Group (TCCG) provides funding to small, community-based non-profit programs designed to support the resilience and health of communities affected by the Pattern Energy wind projects in Torrance, Guadalupe and Lincoln counties, New Mexico. Grants from the TCCG are intended to strengthen communities and help them address unmet needs in order to prepare for a changing world.
The Western Spirit Wind Projects of Pattern Energy have supplied the initial funding to TCCG for this grant-making opportunity. We hold fiscal sponsorship with The New Mexico Foundation, which will support our grant-making process. We share with them the goal of strengthening communities.
ABOUT THE FOUNDATION:
New Mexico Foundation (NMF) was started in 1983 by a small group of dedicated and visionary volunteers who believed in the power of philanthropy as a tool for inspiring creative, community-based change and prosperity.
NMF’s progressive, grassroots approach to building stronger communities empowers community members to collaborate on critical issues by tapping into local resources and discovering the strength in themselves.
MISSION:
We offer grants to the communities within the tri-county area impacted by the Corona Wind/Western Spirit projects. Our goal is to improve the resilience of the community and the quality of life of its residents through educational, cultural, and environmental projects.
